Description
Most people struggle with religion, one way or another. To many, it makes no sense at all, while others think it is complete nonsense. Some have never heard the gospel message and have questions about God, but don't know where to start looking for answers. Others loyally attend church, but struggle when it comes to such things as the difference between legalism and grace, and how we can be separate from the world and Christ's disciples in it at the same time. When Religion Makes No(n) Sense is a book that discusses universal interdenominational questions and issues from a balanced biblical viewpoint. It will help seekers find answers and choose Christ. It will also help the average church member identify with where seekers are at, focus on what is important, and become better equipped as a disciple of Jesus Christ to others. The chapters in this book each cover a different topic, and could be used independently from each other. They could also be used as Bible study or Sunday school material when the scripture references are researched and discussed in a group setting. About the Author: Martha's desire is that her efforts in writing this book will result in others coming to know Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. About the Author Martha Marie Wiebe was born and raised in a traditional Mennonite culture, and has been part of a few different denominations in her lifetime. She is the wife of Abram F. Wiebe, who is a pastor in a small oilfield town in Alberta, Canada. They have four biological children, three daughter in laws, and three lovely grandchildren.
